OREANDA-NEWS. December 25, 2012. Sinochem Group President Liu Deshu visited the company’s member enterprises in Fujian, such as Sinochem Quanzhou Petrochemical Co., Ltd. (Sinochem Quanzhou) and Sinochem (Fujian) Fuels Distribution Co., Ltd., and he took the opportunity to greet all staff and survey field sites of the 12-million tons/year oil refining project of Sinochem Quanzhou and the gas stations of Sinochem Oil. President Liu made specific requirements on project construction, safety production and product marketing.

The visit also saw participation of Sinochem Group Vice President Han Gensheng, Pan Zhengyi, Zhang Zhiyin, Du Keping, Du Guosheng, CFO Yang Lin and Assistant President Zhong Ren.

The delegation led by President Liu visited the main plant area of Sinochem Quanzhou’s 12 million tons/year oil refining project, Qinglanshan tank terminal, Waizoumadai wharf and other construction sites to understand progress of project construction. And President Liu expressed his acknowledgement of and gratitude for hard work of all staff and construction units, and expected that relevant units would make persistent efforts and greater contributions to the growth of the company, the construction of the Western Taiwan Straits Economic Zone and development of China’s petroleum industry.

In the Sinochem Oil Gas Station at Donghu Street in downtown of Quanzhou, President Liu and other leaders visited the forecourt, the convenience store and the training room. Then President Liu affirmed and encouraged development of gas stations of Sinochem Oil in Fujian and made important instructions in terms of business philosophy and gas station network development of the company.

During the visit, President Liu Deshu and Vice President Du Guosheng also attended the signing ceremony for the strategic cooperation agreement between Sinochem Group and Quanzhou Municipal Government. According to the agreement, both parties will continue to push forward the 12 million tons/year oil refining project, promote construction of super-large oil refining and chemical engineering bases that integrate oil refining and chemical engineering, as well as oil refining and storage, and deepen their cooperation in energy, real estate and finance.
