OREANDA-NEWS. December 25, 2012. The IFR Awards are part of the Thomson Reuters Awards for Excellence, recognizing corporate and individual success in the global financial industry. TodayIFR named BNP Paribas its “Bank of the Year”.

Winners are chosen according to a number of criteria: how the institution progressed over the course of the year; how its strategic goals were met; how it addressed and adapted to trends that drove market activity throughout the year; and its deal roster.

The IFR 2012 Awards ceremony will take place on 23 January 2013 at the Grosvenor House, London.

Baudouin Prot named top-performing CEO among the CAC 40 companies – Challenges Magazine

For the first time, the French magazine Challenges published a ranking of the Chief Executive Officers of the companies belonging to the CAC 40.

Baudouin Prot, Chief Executive Officer of BNP Paribas, was placed at the top of the ranking, followed by Maurice Levy of Publicis Group and Hubert Sagnieres of Essilor International.

Recognized for his strategic choices, Baudouin Prot “succeeded in aligning BNP Paribas with the high standards of banking regulations.”
