OREANDA-NEWS. December 25, 2012. A management shuffle is forthcoming at Otkritie Bank and Nomos Bank. Evgeny Dankevich will join Nomos Bank to head its Operations and IT Divisions and develop its retail and small and medium-sized businesses, while remaining on Otkritie Bank’s Board of Directors and taking an active part in the operations of the bank.

Evgeny Dankevich, who joined our team at the beginning, has worked for Otkritie for a total of 13 years. Since 2004, he has been held executive posts within the Financial Corporation, the Management Company, the Brokerage House, and the Bank. The shift to Nomos Bank is going to signify a new and important turn in his career.

Alexey Gonus, who is currently Deputy Chairman of the Management Board and in charge of the Corporate Business Division, has been recommended to Otkritie Bank’s Board of Directors as a candidate for Chairman of the Management Board. Following approval by the Board, his appointment will be submitted for ratification to the Central Bank.

Alexey Gonus joined Otkritie Bank after working at Sobinbank for 11 years, where he progressed from a branch head to first deputy chairman of the bank’s Management Board. Alexey has worked in the banking services market since 1993, acquiring unique experience which will be particularly helpful in consolidating Otkritie and Nomos Bank.

His expertise will be essential for the corporation, considering the forthcoming consolidation of Otkritie Bank and Nomos Bank”.
