OREANDA-NEWS. December 27, 2012. 22 employees of JSC "National Company "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" were trained on "Transport Logistics" course developed in conjunction with DB International GmbH (Federal Republic of Germany).
Deutsche Bahn is one of the leading consulting and engineering companies in the world, founded in 1966, which provides consulting services in engineering, economics, development, maintenance, management and training. Deutsche Bahn has a network of research institutes, laboratories equipped with a network of global logistics. It is one of the first places in the world rankings in the field of engineering and technology programs.
 
In order to share experiences, research infrastructure Deutsche Bahn, a successful reorganization, as well as training programs and adapt them to the company, Kazakhstan Temir Zholy employees were trained on "Transport Logistics" in the period from 9 to 21 December 2012.
 
Part of the training program was held in Berlin, where experts in the field of logistics and supply chain management: Professor, Doctor of Technical Sciences Gerbard Hafer, managing logistics consulting Frankl Sperl and others described students basic operation of logistics systems, the experience of creation and operation of logistics infrastructure in Germany and the theory and practice ground for combined transport, marine supplies. During the lectures was a detailed account of the principles of the warehouse from receipt of goods before they are shipped to consignees.
 
In addition, the Company's employees visited the central management of freight transportation in Grossbeeren, near Berlin, and the port city of Duisburg.
 
The second section of the program was aimed at in-depth study of logistics processes and the application of logistics warehouse operation. Application of current knowledge in this area of the national company employees saw visiting division of "Siemens" producing gas turbine power plants.
 
JSC "NC "KTZ" was interested in experience of Deutsche Bahn in various fields. Active in the market of transport and logistics DB shares its expertise by teaching colleagues from around the world. At present about 9000 students improve their skills in the Deutsche Bahn for more than 25 professions, 800 students are enrolled on the dual system of training and 400 trainees offered career.
