OREANDA-NEWS. January 4, 2013. A subsidiary of MOESK - OJSC “Energocenter” will ensure commissioning of a new unique facility and technological connection of new consumers in the west of the Moscow Region.

Due to the strong economic development of the Moscow Region, the region faces increased demand for electric power consumption in recent years. To meet the challenges for power supply, an agreement was signed with the Moscow Region Government in respect of development of the region and ensuring of reliable power supply to the Moscow Region consumers. According to plans, 14 new substations will be built in the region - in the Odintsovsky, Voskresensky, Mytishchinsky Districts, and in other districts, including the Krasnogorsky District, where the electric substation “Ilyinskaya” with two transformers of 200 MVA will be put into operation.

In 2012, the activity of OJSC “Energocenter” was aimed at implementation of the investment program to develop the power industry of the Moscow Region. Thus, the substation 220/20/10 kV “Ilyinskaya” in the Krasnogorsky District and 220/10 kV “Podushkino” in Odintsovo were connected to the electric grid in the Moscow Region.

The amount of the planned investments in construction of the feeding center of 220 kV “Ilyinskaya” S will exceed RUR 3 billion. The feeding center will increase transmission capacity, ensure reliable supply of electricity to consumers in the area of “Pavshinskaya Poima” in the Krasnogorsky District.

It should be noted that the above substation is a unique building: the depth of the cable tunnel is over 15 meters, and the energy facility, along with the adjacent power grid is located in the territory of 2 constituent entities of the federation, which involved many difficulties in the process of the settlement of the land issue, as well as obtaining of the permission to commission the electrical substation.

In 2012, “Energocenter” continued its strategy of development of the electric power industry in the region: the company completed construction of the feeding center and distribution grids, new customers are connected to the grid.

Currently “Ilyinskaya” S has nearby 20 customers and contracts for technological connection for the total capacity of up to 200 MW, which emphasizes an important role of “Ilyinskaya” S in reducing power deficit and increasing reliability of electricity supply in the Moscow Region.
