OREANDA-NEWS. January 18, 2013. Jet Airways, India’s premier international airline, has today commenced a second service between Delhi and Dubai enhancing its connectivity to the UAE with a day time flight. The airline has deployed its new generation Boeing 737-800 aircraft offering twin configuration of 16 seats in Premiere and 138 in Economy. This new frequency to Dubai will complement the night flight presently operating between the national capital and the financial hub of the United Arab Emirates.

 Flight 9W 546, with a full load of passengers, departed at 11:15 hours and arrived Dubai at 1330 hrs (Local Time). On the return leg, flight 9W 545 will depart Dubai at 14:25 hrs (LT) and arrive into Delhi at 18:55 hrs (LT). This new flight will provide convenient connections to guests travelling to and from northern India, as well as from the SAARC and ASEAN countries through the airline’s important HUB of New Delhi.

The introduction of this new flight between Delhi and Dubai further strengthens the presence of Jet Airways in the Indo-Gulf sector, making it one of the region's leading carriers.

 The new service from Delhi will now complement the airline’s existing daily Gulf operations to Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Dubai, Doha, Kuwait, Muscat and Sharjah, as well as to Jeddah, Riyadh and Dammam from several cities in India.
