OREANDA-NEWS. January 25, 2013. Tele2, a European mobile operator, continues to expand international roaming operations. Sri Lanka and the Aland Islands entered the list of locations where Tele2 Russia subscribers may use international roaming. Sri Lanka’s Etisalat and Aland Telekommunikation are Tele2’s roaming partners on the islands.

Tele2 subscribers will pay only 9.45 rubles per minute for outgoing calls on the Aland Islands. Data services cost just 25 rubles per 1 megabyte. An MMS price is equal to that of an SMS, which is 4.5 rubles. No payment is charged for traffic.

Automatic voice roaming is available in Sri Lanka at a single profitable rate of 35 rubles per minute for incoming and outgoing calls. Just as during their stay at home, Tele2 clients may use voice without dialing additional digits and check their accounts on a real-time basis. Tele2 subscribers will be able to send MMS and SMS messages for 12 rubles.

Cost-efficient tariffs for roaming are available to all Tele2 clients without subscriber fees and any additional conditions.

Subscribers may evaluate their roaming expenses prior to voyage. A free-toll calculator at www.roaming.tele2.ru is a handy tool for those planning their journey abroad.
