OREANDA-NEWS. January 29, 2013. Izhorskie Zavody, part of OMZ Group, successfully passed a re-certification audit for the right to manufacture vessels under pressure in accordance with the requirements of the ASME Code (American Society of Mechanical Engineers).

The purpose of the audit – proof of capabilities of Izhora plants design and construction of vessels under pressure, based on ASME Code Section VIII Divisions 1 and 2 stigma character code ASME - "U" and "U2".

An audit performed by a team of authorized inspectors ASME. During the audit were checked design and technological documentation, process equipment used in the manufacture of pressure vessels, certification of the personnel and regulatory requirements of the ASME Code.

The audit showed a high level of quality in all phases of design, pre-production and production of vessels.

Validity of the Certification - November 14, 2015.

Izhorskie Zavody have currently produced more than 20 petrochemical vessels weighing from 80 to 1300 tons according to the ASME code - for Rosneft, TNK-BP, Naftan Company, TANECO and other major oil companies.

The next successful completion of a re-certification audit is convincing proof of the high authority of Izhorskie Zavody as a manufacturer and supplier of petrochemical equipment, and provides the ability to successfully participate in international tenders for the manufacture of equipment for the construction and upgrading refiners.
