OREANDA-NEWS. January 29, 2013. Power engineers of Moscow Cable Grids – branch of JSC “Moscow United Electric Grid Company”, have completed the technological connection work of four complete transformer substations (CTS) to the Company’s electric grids, for the needs of JSC “Mosmetrostroy”. The builders of Lyublinsko-Dmitorvsky line of the underground will get electric power from the feeding centers at an area from station “Mar’yina Roscha” to station “Petrovsko-Razumovskaya”.

Eight cable lines (CL) have been laid for a proper and continuous power supply of the important subscriber CTS, from the feeding center of JSC “MOESK”. A length of each of them – is about three kilometers. All the works on laying, testing and preparing to putting into commission of the new CL have been fulfilled on a tight schedule, in spite of the megacity’s complicated conditions.

It’s worth specifying, that to implement successfully the construction program of new stations and lines of the underground in Moscow and their subsequent operation, much energy is required. So, MOESK power engineers output the underground builders about 18 megawatt (MW) of capacitance to construct this very stated patch of construction of the underground line. For comparison, all the installed capacity of Raushskaya electric power plant (the primary electric power resource in Moscow in 1897) amounted to 3,3 MW!

Let us recall, that at the end of the last year the specialists Moscow United Electric Grid Company “fed” the 187th station of the metropolitan subway – “Alma-Atinskaya”. So, a series of connections for such short period of time can be estimated as an evidence of the partnership relations between the power engineers and underground builders, and also a well-defined organized orderly work of MOESK for the benefit of inhabitants and visitors to the capital.
