OREANDA-NEWS. February 11, 2013. JSC “MOESK” has fulfilled fully the repair program of 2012. Last year RUR 4,989 mln were invested in the reconstruction of the Company’s electric grid facilities. As a result of the performed repair works, the power engineers of MOESK renovated 1,270 km of overhead power transmission lines with the voltage of 35-220 kV, which is by 3% more than the planned volumes. For the past year they repaired also 215 power transformers 35-220 kV (+5% to the plan of 2012), 2,380 circuit breakers (+5%), 2,276 km overhead lines of 0,4-10 kV, 2,670 transformer substations (+4%), 260 km cable power transmission lines of 04,-220 kV (+2%), reported the press-centre of MOESK.

In 2012, 2,303 km of the non-insulated wires were substituted on 6-10 kV OL, passing through the forestland, by self-supporting insulated conductors (SSIC-3). 5,306 km of the forest corridors of overhead power transmission lines were expanded to the normative standing, with the capacity of 35-220 kV and 1,196 km – forest corridors of 6-10 kV OL. Forest corridors brought to a normative standing are less exposed to damages under trees falling down and provide a possibility of qualitative inspections making of PTL.

In 2012 branch of JSC “MOESK” – “High-voltage Cable Grids” carried out a repair of a construction part, waterproofing and auxiliary equipment of three cable galleries – “Grazhdansky”, “Kalitnikovsky” and “Serp-molot”. A construction part and auxiliary equipment of 28 set up stop manholes, a construction part and waterproofing of junction wells of 110 kV CL were repaired and other works were performed.

The past year the power engineers of the Eastern Electric Grids reconstructed 38 power transformers with the voltage of 35-220 kV. Besides that, the plan on the transformers repairs in the distribution grids was exceeded in the branch by more than one fourth: the plan had been 70 pieces, and 88 pieces were repaired actually. Cable lines with the voltage of 0,4-6/10 kV – 14,7 km, were substituted more than twofold. Totally, 356 transformer substations were repaired, and the plan had been 1,300 poles – and 1,566 poles were substituted (+20% to the plan).

In 2012, the specialists of Moscow Cable Grids made 9,343 repairs, which exceeded the plan by 10%. The repair plan of 0,4-10 kV cable lines was 8,500 pcs. for 2012, with a substitution of patch cables with the total length of 90 km. 9,343 repairs were fulfilled actually, with the total length of 92 km. The total volume of the electrical machinery’s repairs of the transformer substations amounted to 1,193 pcs., that of the transformers – 159 pcs.
Volume of the repair program of 2012 amounted to RUR 552,583.3 ths. in branch of JSC “MOESK” - Northern Electric Grids and was fulfilled fully. The physical volumes of the repair grew in average by 20%: 373,3 km of 35-220 kV overhead lines, 544,4 km of 0,4-10 kV OL, 22,3 km of 0,4-220 kV cable lines were repaired. Besides that, 36 power transformers of 35-220 kV were renovated

Branch Southern Electric Grids invested RUR 789 mln into the repair program implementation of 2012. During the last year 40 power transformers of 35-220 kV were repaired at 110 kV substations: “Syrovo”, “Yubileynaya”, “Bolyatino", “Bronnitsy” and others. During the last year 7,973 insulators, 5,863 poles were substituted on 6-10 kV overhead lines, 6,67 km of the ground wire, more than 18 km of the wire on 35-220 kV OL, about 19,6 km cable lines were repaired. A substitution of more than 550 km of the non-insulated wire was made by the insulated wire of type SSIC-2 and SSIC-3. More than 1 ths. hectare of the forest corridors underneath the power transmission lines were cleared off and expanded.

To provide a reliable and continuous power supply of the metropolitan area’s inhabitants, the power engineers of Moscow United Electric Grid Company carry out on a regular basis the repair works on facilities of the subordinate electric grid sector.

Repair program implementation – is an integral and one of the top-priority spheres of activity of JSC “MOESK”. The fulfillment of the plan of repairs will make it possible to increase a reliability of function of the entire complex of the energy equipment and to provide conditions for a technological connection of the Company’s new customers.
