OREANDA-NEWS. OJSC “Sibirsky Khimichesky Kombinat” (included in Fuel Company of Rosatom TVEL) was visited by Yuri Olenin, President of the Fuel Company, who during this scheduled visit rewarded the best performers at SKK and its subsidiaries.

In his opening speech, Yuri Olenin told those who were present about the outcomes of his meeting with Sergey Zhvachkin, the Governor of Tomsk Region, and about the development prospects for SKK and Seversk. In particular, the head of TVEL OJSC confirmed their intentions to build a conversion plant, co-finance municipal social and business support programs, attract additional customers for SKK’s divisions, and also stressed the need to develop non-nuclear production.

The solemn ceremony started with the presentation of a state award of the Russian Federation. A medal For Life Saving was awarded to Nikolai Nikitin, a physical and chemical engineer from SKK’s Central Laboratory, for his commitment and high professionalism demonstrated during liquidation of the consequences after the Chernobyl disaster.

SKK’s chief engineer Anatoly Kozyrev was recognized with a certificate of honour from Rosatom State Corporation for his great contribution to the development of nuclear industry, his high professionalism and his merits in the field of health and safety. Andrei Kozlov, an engineer of the isotope separation plant, and Galina Panteleyeva, SKK’s Deputy General Director for Economy and Finance, were also recognized with certificates of honour from Rosatom State Corporation for their professional achievements and great contribution to the development of the company and nuclear industry in general.

The General Director of Rosatom State Corporation officially thanked to Vasily Dyukarev, an electronic engineer at the chemical and metallurgical plant, and to Anatoly Lebedev, a grade-five gas treatment unit operator at the sublimation plant.

Honourary diplomas were awarded to Shamil Gilyazov, a grade-eight electrical/gas welder of the Combined Power Plant, to Constantine Tvilenev, SKK Conversion Plant Creation Project Manager, and to Pavel Yanuchkovsky, a grade-six repairman at the radiochemical plant.

TVEL President also commended employees of SKK subsidiaries: Alexander Pikmulin, a grade-five boilermaker of Siberian Mechanical Plant LLC; Sergey Skokshin, a decommissioning engineer of Pilot Demonstration Center for Decommissioning of Graphite-Uranium Reactors; and Andrei Surov, a grade-five repairman of Sibregionpromservice LLC.

TVEL President Yuri Olenin presented awards and valuable gifts to employees of SKK and its subsidiaries. He thanked everyone for their work and wished them successes in their work and personal welfare. “We will complete all plans we have for the development of Sibirsky khimichesky kombinat!”, said the corporate executive in his closing remarks.

OJSC “Sibirsky khimichesky kombinat” (Seversk) includes five nuclear material handling plants and combined power plants.
