OREANDA-NEWS. February 18, 2013. The Estonian Competition Authority has invited SORAINEN to participate in a development cooperation project with the aim, as its name implies, of “Enhancing the protection of free market competition in Moldova through education and good governance”, reported the press-centre of SORAINEN.

The project is being financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from Development Co-operation and Humanitarian Aid funds and implemented by Tallinn Law School at Tallinn University of Technology.

Strategically, Estonian development co-operation with Moldova concentrates on education, good governance and democracy-building, as well as support for economic development and environmental sustainability. This particular project will contribute to protection of free market competition in Moldova through a professional training and educational programme targeting Moldovan public officials, legal practitioners, the business community, academia and wider society.

Thus in February SORAINEN attorneys, based on a proposal by the Estonian Competition Authority, will provide Moldavian regulator representatives with an overview on supervision procedures and merger control from the perspective of Estonian legal counsel as well as on the attorney’s role in communicating with the Estonian Competition Authority and other regulators.
