OREANDA-NEWS. JSC RusHydro (ticker symbol: MICEX-RTS, LSE: HYDR; OTCQX: RSHYY) announces that the Russian Institute of Directors (RID) has affirmed its National Corporate Governance Score (NCGS) at 7+ (Developed Corporate Governance Practices).

RusHydro’s corporate governance practices have been monitored from December 2011 to February 2013, the experts marked out the following improvements: dividend payments for 2011 in the amount of RUR 2.5 bn (8% of net income for 2011 under RAS), introduction of the amended Code of corporate ethics that includes anti-corruption statements, amendments to the Company’s dividend policy. However the recent changes in the Board of Directors structure may affect the Company’s corporate governance. The RID experts will continue to monitor the further developments and sustainability of RusHydro’s corporate governance.

Considering the fact that RusHydro has been demonstrating the high level of corporate governance practices over the years the experts have affirmed the Company’s rating at 7+ according to the NCGS scale.
