OREANDA-NEWS. A new service of SMS-notifications in CyberPlat® electronic payment system allows individuals to control information on effecting their payments in favor of more than 3,000 service providers available in the system.

When sending an SMS containing the word ‘status’ from the mobile phone to the short service number 2880, the subscriber will receive information on payments effected to this mobile number in favor of the mobile operator as of the current date. In response, the subscriber will first receive an SMS-confirmation reading ‘The request has been accepted’ and then within a minute a message like: platezh space amount of payment in rubles space time of crediting space status of payment. For example, ‘platezh 100 rub. 11.30 uspeshen’.

This service provides an opportunity to learn about payments effected to any mobile phone and top-up of personal accounts of various service providers available in CyberPlat® electronic payment system. To get the necessary information the payer should send to the short service number 2880 either an SMS like: status space ten-digit mobile phone number with prefix (for example: ‘status 9161234567’) or the personal account number of the selected service provider (for example: ‘status 0123456789’).

After request confirmation, providing the request contains the mobile phone number, the subscriber will get information on the last payment made to this number in favor of the mobile operator as of the current date. If the request contains the personal account number of any service provider (for example, fixed-line company, cable TV provider, Internet service provider, utilities and others), the system’s customer will receive information on payments made in the provider’s favor.

Using the new service the subscriber can get information on transactions made on any day within the last three months, adding an appropriate date after a space followed the number. Such a message looks like as follows: status space ten-digit mobile phone number with prefix or personal account number of selected service provider space date in format of DDMMYYY. For example, a request for information about payments made in favor of the mobile operator will be as follows: ‘status 9161234567 22012013’, while an SMS informing on payments in favor of the service provider — ‘status 0123456789 22012013’.

The service is available in networks of any Russian major mobile operator such as MTS, Beeline, MegaFon and Tele2. The service cost depends on the selected tariff and is about 5 rubles for sending one message.
