OREANDA-NEWS. March 01, 2013. The 20th international fashion show "CPM – Collection Premiere Moscow" will be held from 26th of February till 1st of March in Moscow and the nine Kyrgyz enterprises will participate under the patronage of the Trade Promotion Programme in the Kyrgyz Republic, a programme funded by the Government of Switzerland and implemented by the Kyrgyz International Trade Centre (ITC).

The Moscow fashion show has positioned its importance in the international market and presents national and international brands of more than 600 companies from over 30 countries. Visitors come to the exhibition to learn about the latest trends in the fashion world, see new collections and place their orders.

The show room of Kyrgyzstan presents a broad range of products under the united label “Made in Kyrgyzstan”. It offers the Kyrgyz companies a good opportunity to present their products in the largest consumer markets of Russia, CIS and Eastern Europe. The Kyrgyz clothing industry is represented by nine of its industry leaders : “Diva Style”, “Rusol”, “E-line moda”, “Lila Style”, “Prima Vera”, “Ardamina”, “Nazik”, “Credo Fashion” and “Bermet”.

The Kyrgyz cloth industry employs around 160 thousand people, more than 80% of them women. Almost 90% of the products are exported to Russia and from year to year the production volume is growing. According to trade statistics the production volume of textile and clothing products in Kyrgyzstan in 2012 reached 9.2 billion soms, a 12.5% increase compared to 2011.
