OREANDA-NEWS. March 05, 2013. A Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Olexandr Vilkul held in Simpheropil a meeting dedicated to solving a problem of unfinished buildings. The event was attended also by Minister of Regional Development, Building and Housing and Communal Services Hennadiy Temnyk, head of Ministerial Council of AR of Crimea Anatoliy Mohylyov, head of Sevastopol municipal state administartion Volodymyr Yatsuba, deputy heads of regional state administrations having competency in the building area.

A problem of protracted construction has not been solved for decades. The system activity in this direction started in 2010. “There commenced the inventory of unfinished construction sites and efforts were directed to their completion. Hence, we have a positive result. Through 2011-2012 there were completed and put in exploitation 1800 objects which reduced by 10% the amount of unfinished buildings,” Olexandr Vilkul explained.

According to the head of Regional Development Ministry Hennadiy Temnyk a problem of long-drawn-out construction remains one of the most complex in the building domain. “Now we must take decisions about every object whether to finalize the construction activities or to redesign,” he urged.

Olexandr Vilkul set a task not to afford increasing of unfinished construction sites, to introduce in every region a system of effective planning, to strictly control use of funds concerning construction objects.

In the course of distributing state funds for objects of communal and public property the priority objects appear those with the high level of readiness to construction works.
