OREANDA-NEWS. PotashCorp helped make miracles by donating USD 300,000 to the Kinsmen Telemiracle Foundation during their annual 20-hour Telemiracle telethon on March 2 and 3. The donation is intended to provide equipment  for mobility challenged individuals throughout Saskatchewan.

“We’re proud to continue our support of the Kinsmen Telemiracle Foundation,” said Denita Stann, Vice President of Investor and Public Relations at PotashCorp. “Our local Kinsmen and Kinettes, and all the people of Saskatchewan who picked up the phone to pledge their support, are making a real difference in the lives of hundreds of people with special needs.”

“Improving quality of life in places where we operate is one of our goals,” Stann explained, “and it’s why we’ve partnered with the Kinsmen Telemiracle Foundation again this year.”

The cheque presentation was made live on Sunday, March 3, during the broadcast of Telemiracle 37.

“Mobility equipment is about more than transportation,” added Rhonda Speiss, Manager of Corporate Philanthropy. “This equipment will provide independence and improve the quality of life for many people across Saskatchewan.”
