OREANDA-NEWS. Tele2, a European mobile operator, continues to extend internal roaming boundaries. Tele2 has signed an agreement with MTS, a leading Russia and CIS telecommunications operator, on a launch of roaming services. The deal provides Tele2 subscribers with access to MTS network at all-Russia territory.

From now on, mobile services are available to Tele2 subscribers in MTS, Beeline, Megafon, SMARTS and Utel networks. Thus, Tele2 has become the first Russian company to provide internal roaming in major mobile networks at a price of 9.45 rubles per minute.

Tele2 has operations in 41 Russian regions. A wider roaming territory will let subscribers stay in touch in the country’s all regions and have access to several operators’ services.

National roaming provides Tele2 subscribers with an opportunity to use voice, MMS and SMS services, high-speed mobile Internet and other popular services in partners’ networks on Russian territory.

The phone is automatically registered in the roaming partner’s network and prices stay low. Subscribers may manually switch to the operator of their choice. Subscribers will pay 9.45 rubles per one minute of talk and 4.5 rubles per one outgoing SMS. Data charges total 25 rubles per one megabyte.
