OREANDA-NEWS.  March 07, 2013. Top managers of JSC TATNEFT have been awarded the Prize of the Russian Federation Government in the field of science and technology by the Russian Federation Government Executive Order.

The title of "Winner of the Russian Federation Government Prize in science and technology" for creation and industrial introduction of viscous oil field development technologies have been conferred to: Shafagat Fakhrazovich Takhautdinov, General Director of the Company, Nail Gabdulbarievich Ibragimov, First Deputy General Director - Chief Engineer, Rais Salikhovich Khisamov, Chief Geologist - Deputy General Director, Ravil Rustamovich Ibatullin, Director of TatNIPIneft, Nakip Salakhovich Gatiyatullin, Head of the Tatar Geological Exploration Administration of JSC TATNEFT, Ilgiz Misbahovich Salikhov, Head of NGDU "Nurlatneft", Azat Timeryanovich Zaripov, Deputy Head of Department – Laboratory Manager of TatNIPIneft and Rinat Kasimovich Sabirov, Assistant to President of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The professionals of TATNEFT Company carry out large-scale integrated activities aimed at addressing the most important scientific and technical problem of introducing in the commercial development of considerable reserves of extra-viscous oil (EVO) in the Republic of Tatarstan. Introduction of the efficient technologies complex to improve the field development system, application of modern techniques and technologies in recent years has allowed achieving significant growth in production of EVO.

Innovative field development technologies and organization of the new EVO production being developed and applied at JSC TATNEFT become the most important reserve in the country’s oil industry. The efficient technologies and equipment developed during pilot projects for the production and processing of EVO can be widely applied in the development of similar deposits in other regions of Russia and abroad.

Government Executive Order No. 254-r dated February 27, 2013 on awarding the Russian Government prizes of 2012 in science and technology has presented 40 annual awards in science and technology, including 10 awards for the works in the field of defense and security (Federal Order of the Russian Federation Government for classified operations is issued separately).

291 persons including 18 academicians and 13 corresponding members of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Russian Academy of Medical Sciences and Russian Academy of Architecture and Construction Sciences, 1 corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Ukraine, 89 doctors of science and 94 candidates of sciences were singled out for granting the Prize of the Russian Federation Government of 2012 in science and technology with the title of the Russian Federation Government Prize winner in science and technology.

There are representatives of 24 Russian Federation constituents among the authors of works submitted.
