OREANDA-NEWS. March 07, 2013. This was announced by Premier Vladimir Filat, who said that the talks were postponed sine die due to the vote of censure against the government. Vladimir Filat reminded that the EU and Moldova had achieved an agreement in principle for the following round of the talks in Brussels, scheduled for March, 11-14, to be the ultimate one and for parties to announce the talks rounded off. Then, the agreement was going to be initialled and signed.

The Premier expressed regret on the postponement of the DCFTA talks and noted that time is running out for Moldova. Vladimir Filat said the Liberal-Democratic Party he heads is ready for creation of a new alliance in order to proceeds with the reforms.

However, he said, the talks on the new alliance are possible only provided that some conditions are observed and the main of them is that the debate on a new alliance must be held without any preliminary stipulations.

Vladimir Filat calls it impermissible to invite to a dialogue and, at the same time, to compel to something, delivering ultimatums. According to him, if the talks fail, they who have driven the country into political instability and chaos will be responsible for early parliamentary elections.
