OREANDA-NEWS.  Starting from April 1, 2013 Aeroexpress company introduces changes into the schedule of the trains running between Kievskiy railway station and Vnukovo airport of Moscow.

In accordance with the new schedule the number of runs for this direction will be increased up to 42. To be added are the trains leaving Kievskiy railway station at 15-30, 17-30, 19-30 and leaving Vnukovo airport at 13-00, 16-30, 18-30. The 6 additional runs provided will enable to reduce traffic intervals for the route up to 30 minutes. Introduction of additional runs became possible due to the contribution of "Russian Railways".

'Increased number of runs for the ' Kievskiy railway station to Vnukovo airport' route is a natural measure first and foremost destined to address the constant growth of passenger flow in this direction. In 2012 Vnukovo aeroexpress trains transported over 2.1 billion of passengers exceeding the index of 2011 by 20.2%. We believe that the tendency will be preserved in the future as a result of constant perfection of passenger service related technologies', noted Nadezhda Dorzhieva, press secretary of Aeroexpress.

Total share of Vnukovo aeroexpress trains accounted for 21.94% based on the results of 2012 which exceeded the similar value of 2011 by 0.28%.
