OREANDA-NEWS. Sergey Kogogin, General Director of OJSC KAMAZ, and Herbert Ortner, CEO and Chairman of the Management Board of PALFINGER AG (Austria), have signed a memorandum of agreement.

The subject of the agreement is to set the principles of cooperation between the Russian and the Austrian companies in the sphere of lifting and special equipment production, the parties’ intentions relating to their further cooperation, and additional measures aimed at strengthening the companies’ positions on the market of special equipment in Russia and the CIS countries, as well as to strengthen cooperation between OJSC KAMAZ and PALFINGER AG.

The partners will cooperate in the following spheres:
further joint development of special equipment production;
joint work with the key partners;
joint work with the dealership networks of OJSC KAMAZ and PALFINGER AG.

Speaking about the prospects of the companies’ cooperation, Sergey Kogogin, General Director of OJSC KAMAZ, said, “PALFINGER AG was chosen as our general partner because it has the potential to develop the mass production of high-quality equipment and execute the whole set of support functions. This company will help KAMAZ strengthen its positions on the crane-manipulator market of Russia and the CIS. Under the signed agreement, KAMAZ will continue to mount PALFINGER lifting and special equipment on KAMAZ chassis, and also promote these products and service them through its own distribution network.

In its turn, PALFINGER AG plans to service vehicles, organize trainings, warranty service for the whole range of supplied vehicles.
