OREANDA-NEWS. March 22, 2013. The "TANECO" Complex of Refining and Petrochemical Plants has received certificates for the integrated management system compliance with the requirements of international standards ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007.

The IMS certification audit performed by experts of BUREAU VERITAS Certification (BVC), confirmed the compliance of the JSC "TANECO's" IMS with the international standards ISO 9001:2008 (quality), ISO 14001:2004 (environment) and OHSAS 18001:2007 (occupational health and safety). BVC auditors pointed out that strong aspects of the system are the management's commitment to the implementation and maintenance of the IMS; highly qualified staff, its involvement and informativity relating to the ISM; lack of accidents and emergency situations; application of the latest technologies at wastewater treatment plants, providing for a water supply closed loop.

As part of strengthening the vertical integration of TATNEFT Group of Companies the main objective of JSC "TANECO" is to ensure high-tech, efficient and environmentally friendly processing of crude oil and yield of competitive products. To achieve this objective the development and implementation of an integrated management system (IMS) based on the quality management system, environmental management system, occupational safety and health management system was started in 2010 during construction of the first phase of the crude oil refining complex.

In the current year it is expected to have a compliance audit of the JSC "TANECO" integrated management system with international standards ISO 9001, ISO14001, OHSAS 18001 to extend the certification area: "technical sulfur production".
