OREANDA-NEWS. March 28, 2013. MEGABANK has met this spring in unusual way. On 1 March a new promo action called "3D Spring" started. First of all, it’s aimed at giving good mood, optimism and positive emotions to the bank’s clients. The Deputy Chairman of MEGABANK, PJSC Viktoriia Pidgorna tells about principles of work with individuals and priorities of MEGABANK’s activity in this sphere.

- Recently a new spring promo action has launched in the bank. Tell us about it in detail. How did the idea of this promo occur?
- On 1 March a new promo action for individual depositors called "3D Spring" started in all branches of MEGABANK. It didn’t take much time to think this idea over, since I’m sure the spring brings romance and feelings to everyone. This is the reason we decided to add some romance to lives of our clients and give them a chance to visit 3D cinema (for two persons). Moreover, some winners will be presented with up to 22 inches diagonal TV sets. At the end of the promo action the main present – modern 3D TV set will be presented.

- What should one do to take part in the promo action?
To take part in the promo action it is necessary to open a deposit account in MEGABANK and put an initial amount of not less than UAH 3,500 (or USD 400 or EUR 350). One participant may open several deposits. The number of winners is not limited. The promo action will continue up to 31 May. Official rules and information about winners are available at the web-page of the bank and in its branch network.

- Recently at the end of February you have summarized the promo action "Warm gifts for holidays". Tell us about it, please.
 - About 600 clients in 22 regions of Ukraine became the winners of this promo. It was available the whole winter, from the beginning of December till the end of February.
 
- How many deposits were opened during this promo action?
- This promo action has resulted in UAH 388 mln. Winners got warm plaids as presents and were really grateful. Believe me we got lots of warm and positive opinions and gratitude from our clients and we are happy with that. For some reason few of us believe in transparency of winners determining procedure. We were really honest here.

- What was the winners determining procedure?
- Every two weeks we summarized the promo action. Every 10th depositor became the winner and got a present. The number of winners was not limited. The result of determining the winner was fixed in a minutes of specially organized committee. Then during 5 working days the winner was informed over the phone and the correspondent information appeared at www.megabank.net. This way of determining winners will be used for new promo action "3D Spring".

- Is it necessary to open a particular type of deposit in order to take part in the promo action?
- A client may choose any deposit available during the promo action. There are 8 types of deposit for individuals in the bank nowadays: "Spring over the year", "For Future", pension deposit "Oberig", "Term with the right of replenishment", "Saving", "Productive month", "Useful money" and "Upon request". Depending on type and term of a deposit you can get interest: up to 18.75% per annum in hryvnia, up to 8.75% per annum in U.S. dollars and up to 8.5% per annum in Euro.

- Does MEGABANK always have promo actions for clients?
- We always have special offers for all categories of clients. For example at the end of the last year we determined and awarded the winner of the action "The ICC web-site 100th payer". Then the winner was given UAH 1,000 gift certificate and "MicroSd" NSMEP card issued by the bank to pay for utility bills. Moreover, 4 more payers who were about to be the 100th were given UAH 500 gift certificates and special "USB" payment facilities ("USB" NSMEP card to pay utility bills through the Internet).

oreover, we always have available special offers for servicing pensioners. In particular, we offer them accruing interest on the account balance, opening and managing pension accounts for free, issuing plastic cards free of charge. For pensioners who receive pension through MEGABANK we offer more profitable terms and interests on deposits.

We also widened servicing of pension accounts. Within the pension program "Care" we offered pensioners to open an account to get pension on more profitable terms. A new account has 2 different types of usage. Firstly, it can be used as payment one, money from it can be transferred for utility bills or buying goods and services. Secondly, it is a saving account which can be used as a saving deposit with increased interest rate. Its advantage is that the client has additional income every month. Interest is accrued on the account balance and the client has got unlimited access to money; he/she doesn’t have to inform the bank about ahead of schedule payments.

So, while caring of our clients, we are always looking for new approaches to servicing them. When developing promo actions and special offers we realize that first of all we devote much attention to people and give a good mood to them. The result of this work is increasing the number of our clients: as of 1 March 2013 we have 488,000 people.
