OREANDA-NEWS. The All-Russian Exhibition Center (VVTs) in Moscow hosted the 17th edition of the Gardening & Landscaping Mechanical Aids Fair, the biggest annual springtime event in Russia for lawn-and-garden fanciers and their suppliers of small-scale machinery with, this year, more than 250 companies from 25 regions participating

Nearly 20 exhibits representing various consumer goods, garden furnishings and a lineup of tilling units with attachments were put on display in the 30-m2 showroom of FSUE “Gas-Turbine Engineering Research and Production Center “Salut”.

A novelty design of Salut-100 Tilling Unit was to become this year's star turn of the show. Apart from incorporating the best features of Salut-5 - its much-appreciated predecessor, the new tiller is credited with significantly bettered key characteristics.

The visitors were unanimous to praise the enhanced user-friendliness of the new Salut-100 design. The tiller controls now make for easier operation: the designers were responsive to the feedback from the users and swapped the on-the-gearbox position of the speed selection stick directly onto the handlebars. The standard set of attached scarifying implements now includes 6 (formerly 4) tools with, additionally, dedicated discs for plant protection.

In recognition of the company's high standards and contribution to the event, Salut received the Manufacturer's Excellence Award whereas the Distinguished VVTs Exhibitor Medals were bestowed upon Vladislav Masalov, Director General of Salut, Elvira Glukhova, Head of Administrative Department, and Andrey Smolyugov, Chief Manager of Show & Exhibition Team.
