In another such effort, Tata Power’s Naraj Marthapur project organised an employability training programme for students in Athagarh.

The sixth batch of the programme saw participation from 65 students from all across Cuttack. This 12-day training programme was organised in association with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Kolkata in order to provide employment opportunities for students.

After completing the recruitment process initiated by the TCS HR team, which included a written exam, the candidates who qualified went through three grueling rounds of interviews, which included a round of HR interview and two technical rounds of interviews.

Out of the 65 trainees, 48 students attended a written test, and 15 of them qualified for the next round. In the final round, three students were selected by TCS. So far, six batches have been completed in Odisha and 50 candidates have been recruited by TCS (KPO/BPO), Kolkata.
