OREANDA-NEWS. OJSC "Russian Sea Group" ("Company" or "Group"), one of the leading Russian consumer food companies, announces an appointment of a new Chief Executive Officer. The Board of Directors elected as "Russian Sea Group" CEO Dmitry Dangauer who holds the position of "Russian Fish Company" CEO that is the largest and the most profitable business within the Group.

Dmitry replaced Timofey Tarasov who worked as "Russian Sea Group" CEO since October 2011. During this period Timofey succeeded to set priorities for future development, restructure the Group and stabilize its financial position.

Maxim Vorobiev, Chairman of "Russian Sea Group" Board of Directors, said: "We would like to thank Timofey Tarasov for restructuring the Group through selling its unprofitable business division, for the managing company’s costs optimization and debt reduction. Now the Group is financially stable that is necessary for further sustainable development of its distribution segment represented by "Russian Fish Company" as well as for implementation of an ambitious aquaculture project represented by "Russian Sea – Aquaculture". We believe that Dmitry Dangauer experience and competence make him an optimal person for achieving these targets".

Dmitry Dangauer started working for the Company in 2000, after graduating from Moscow State University of Foreign Affairs. Since that time Dmitry held various positions from sales manager to "Russian Fish Company" CEO that he holds since 2007.

Timofey Tarasov comments on the ongoing changes: "We are satisfied with the Group’s restructuring that allowed to strengthen its financial stability. The stable results demonstrated by "Russian Fish Company" for years created a platform for further development of aquaculture segment that will play a determining role for the Company in future. Implementation of this wide scale project is accompanied by a number of difficulties as aquaculture segment is still developing in our country. At the same time this project has high growth potential that can bring "Russian Sea Group" on a fundamentally different level of profitability".
