Dr. Albrecht Bochow, Member of the Management Board responsible for international business and development, explained both politicians the international strategy of the Kirov Group and its recent acquisitions in Germany.

It is the first time that Goppel Bus presents one of its most innovative models - go4city AutoTram® Extra Grand - at the Hannover Messe. This 30.7-meter-long vehicle is considered the longest bus in the world. Next to this model the enterprise displays another innovative vehicle - the 10.5-meter-long city bus with an attachable passenger trailer.

"Our participation in the Hannover Messe helps the Kirov Group promote unique products of the traditional bus manufacturer Goppel as well as strengthen the group's network with potential partners and clients," stated Dr. Bochow during the visit of the Thuringian delegations.

Both the Minister-President and the Minister of Economics appeared impressed with the expansion of Kirovsky Zavod in Germany. Christine Lieberknecht promised to support the business activities of the Kirov Group and its daughter enterprise Goppel Bus in Thuringia as well as the planned export of the Goppel buses to Russia.
