OREANDA-NEWS. At the end of 2012, the crude output totaled 61.4 million tonnes, a 1% increase from the previous year. The growth of production is due to successful implementation of advanced technologies on the operating fields of OJSC "Surgutneftegas" (hereinafter – the Company) in Western Siberia and further production increase on the fields in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), where the production at the end of 2012 increased by more than 22% to 6.6 million tonnes.

Gas produced at the fields of the Company at the end of 2012 amounted to 12.3 billion cubic meters.

The Company’s processing capacities yielded 7.5 billion cubic meters of gas at the end of 2012.

In 2012, the meterage drilled for development and exploration totaled 4,687 thousand meters and 230 thousand meters, respectively which is 3.5% and 6.0% higher than the corresponding results of the previous year.

At the end of 2012, the Company refined 20.5 million tonnes of oil and produced 2.2 million tonnes of gasoline, 5.1 million tonnes of diesel fuel, 10.4 million tonnes of mazut and 0.7 million tonnes of jet fuel. The Company completed the main construction works at its hydrocracking complex, and plans to commission facilities on a phase-by-phase basis in 2013.
