OREANDA-NEWS. Ural Airlines JSC annual stockholders meeting was held on 25 April. The agenda of the meeting included the following items: approval of the Board of Directors, the Company’s 2012 Annual Report, and its financial statements; profit distribution following the results of the fiscal year; approval of related party transactions, etc.

Year 2012 was special for a number of positive factors that have ensured the growth of the airline’s scope of operations: an increased number of aircraft in the fleet; expansion of geography of flights; expansion of the sales network; implementation of several programs to enhance aircraft maintenance quality and ensure flight safety; start-up of a high technology training facility; and a highly productive and highly professional personnel of the airline.

Following the results of the Company’s operations, the airline’s revenue in 2012 equalled 23,101,868 thousand roubles; net profit, 145,382 thousand roubles. The amount of dividend approved following the results of 2012 equalled 100 roubles per share, in accordance with the procedure determined by the Company’s Charter and Regulations On the Procedure for Calculation and Payment of Dividend on Shares in Ural Airlines Joint Stock Company. Mode of payment: cash.

In addition thereto, the key plans for 2013 were announced at the stockholders meeting. In the current year, the airline's aircraft fleet will increase by further six European Airbus airplanes. A European level aircraft maintenance shed facility is to be opened by year end.
