OREANDA-NEWS. Belarus may soon become a WTO member, President Alexander Lukashenko said in his annual address to the nation and the parliament.

Belarus is already functioning in accordance with WTO regulations, as the country’s major trade partner – Russia – acceded to the WTO, the president said. “While introducing economic standards of the Single Economic Space, we have in fact adopted WTO regulations,” Lukashenko said.
