OREANDA-NEWS. The Bank applied to terminate its rating relationship with Moody’s international rating agency last December. The agency confirmed that it had withdrawn its Uniastrum ratings.

The decision to cancel the rating contract was prompted by two important considerations, namely that Uniastrum’s activities, focused primarily on retail lending and the SME segment, are concentrated exclusively in Russia, and that the lender currently has no plans to tap Western capital markets.

On April 24, 2013 Russian rating agency Expert RA affirmed Uniastrum’s credit rating at B++ with a developing outlook.
