OREANDA-NEWS. CMC has been conferred with TV5's Business Leader Award (2012) for outstanding performance in the information technology sector. During the ceremony held in Hyderabad, R Ramanan, MD and CEO, CMC, was felicitated with a trophy and scroll of honour by N Kiran Kumar Reddy, chief minister of Andhra Pradesh.

TV5 News’s Business Leader Awards is a pioneering initiative that recognises exceptional contributions of a business leader across 14 different sectors, including information technology, pharmaceuticals and manufacturing. The winners were decided by a jury that included members from corporate India as well as voting that invited citizens to choose the best business leaders across diversified business sectors.
