OREANDA-NEWS. Vladimir Voyeikov, Member of the Board of the Bank of Moscow, within the framework of his visit to the Republic of Bashkortostan, met with the representatives of the region’s administration. In the course of the meetings the priority projects of the Republic and the City of Ufa to be financed by the Bank of Moscow, were determined.

The meetings have become another stage of developing co-operation between the Bank of Moscow and the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan as envisaged by the Agreement signed last year.

In more details, a number of meetings were devoted to formalising the Bank’s intentions to render support in the sphere of reforming and modernising the city communal and utility services, infrastructure sites, and overhauling the same. Among the principal direction of co-operation is the development of public transport, road network, construction of affordable housing and joint efforts of the Republic’s Government and the Bank in the public contact system.

In 2006 the Bank of Moscow opened its branch in the Republic of Bashkortostan. Throughout these years the Bank’s Ufa branch has proved to be a reliable financial partner of the people, enterprises and Government of the Republic. Thus the credit portfolio of the Ufa branch of the Bank of Moscow in the SMB segment in Q1 of 2013 amounts to 1.7 billion RUR (1.4 times growth from the beginning of the year). The SMB net proceeds in Q1 of 2013 have increased by 3.5 times up to 4.6 billion RUR.

On 23 May 2013 the representatives of the Bank of Moscow took part in the 3rd International Forum "Big Chemistry", a most important event in the business life of the Republic of Bashkortostan. Issues pertaining to the development of chemical, processing and other industries were discussed at the Forum.
