OREANDA-NEWS. May 29, 2013. The situation which occurred in the world economics and other external factors restrict growth of Ukrainian economics. Considering it the Government is working at creating conditions to stir up the development of domestic market and national production, Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Ihor Prasolov stressed in the course of a media conference.

He reminded that in 2013 there had been approved and was implemented the State program of activization of the economic development for 2013-2014. Its implementation has to influence positively the growth of Ukraine’s economics in the nearest time.

The Minister stressed that though in the I quarter of 2013, as compared to the I quarter of 2012, GDP of Ukraine had shortened by 1.3%, in contrast to the II quarter of last year there were fixed certain positive changes in the GDP dynamics.

Besides, the experts predict recovery of European economics starting from the II half of 2013, which will have a positive impact on the dynamics of Ukrainian economics. 

“We forecast that the positive tendencies will preserve and intensify under the impact of creating conditions for the development of national economics, including at the account of implementation of the State program of activization of the economic development for 2013-2014. The aim of this Program is to build up a strong, pragmatic and open policy directed to the protection of national interests, modernization of essential branches of the national economics and achievement of accelerated economic growth,” I.Prasolov stressed.

According to the Minister, a significant task of the State program is beginning of wide modernization of industry, while the top-priority is support of the national producer and implementation of the import replacement policy. A key principle put in the Program lies in maximally effective management of financial resources and complete transparency in decision-making. 

The Government plans to transfer to new principles of crediting and suggests applying a series of mechanisms of state support of the enterprises of basic industries and enterprises having significant potential of import replacement, including by privileged crediting.
