OREANDA-NEWS. OJSC Krasny Pishchevik confectionery company (based in Bobruisk, Mogilev Region) has commissioned a new Russian-made marshmallow facility worth Br11.666 billion (USD 1.349 million).

The regional authorities are set to acquire 1,197 shares issued by the local confectionery producer for Br359 million (USD 41,841), reads a press release of Belarus’ Currency and Stock Exchange.

As reported by the Finance Ministry of Belarus, OJSC Krasny Pishchevik (literally stands for “Red Food Industry Worker”) issued 175,668 shares on October 1, 2012, which were divided between 798 shareholders, including 791 individuals.

Krasny Pischevik produces marsh-mallow, jelly, dragee, toffees, over 140 types of confectionery: 30 kinds of marshmallow, 8 kinds of halvah. It was founded in 1870 and turned into a joint-stock company in 1994.
