OREANDA-NEWS. June 14, 2013. The Government of Ukraine believes that the I international business conference "ABC: Ukraine & Partners", which is to be held in Kyiv on June 13-14 on the initiative of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, will become an annual platform for determining the most successful economic sectors for the investors and a peculiar workshop for improvement of conditions of making business in Ukraine.

“We are creating for the investors a new, constant, systematic dialog. In fact, it is the first large-scale business conference during the independence years during which we wish to tell our partners: how to invest efficiently into Ukraine,” Mykola Azarov emphasized during a session of the Government.

According to Mykola Azarov, an accent of the annual Conference will become cooperation in IT and agro-industrial spheres.

The Prime Minister stressed in the course of the Conference it was expected concluding of long-term agreements on cooperation in agricultural industry, machine building, sustainable nature usage and preserving of bioresources, development of software industry etc.

Moreover, the head of Government commissioned Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Minister of Industrial Policy, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food, Ministry of Infrastructure in synergy with head of State Property Fund to make during the forum a special presentation of enterprises that in the current year are prepared to privatization.

 To participate in the conference 1.5 thousand companies, over 3 thousand of businessmen from 62 world countries have applied. In particular, among those who confirmed their participation are Prime Ministers of Lithuania Algirdas Butkevicius and Montenegro Milo Dukanovic, President of the European Parliament (2002-2004) Pat Cox (Ireland), President of the Republic of Poland (1995-2005) Alexander Kwasnievski, Deputy Prime Minister of Poland (1997-2000) Leszek Balcerowicz and others. It is planned also participation in the Conference by a member of the Collegium of the Eurasian economic commission Tetyana Valova and EU Commissioner for Energy Gunther Oettinger.
