OREANDA-NEWS. Gazpromneft Aero , the operator of Gazprom Neft’s aviation fuel business, is planning to invest 65 million rubles in the development of a fueling complex at Kemerovo Airport before 2015.

Gazpromneft Aero acquired the fueling complex in Kemerovo in 2012. The company has been installing new equipment and introducing up-to-date quality standards for fueling at the facility. In 2012, the company invested over 20 million rubles in the airport’s fueling infrastructure.

Gazpromneft Aero’s current clients at Kemerovo include S7, Transaero, I-Fly, Nordwind, and other airlines.

“Gazpromneft Aero’s development strategy involves expanding the company’s business at airports in Siberia, where the trans-Siberian air routes run from Europe to Asia,” said Gazpromneft Aero CEO Vladimir Yegorov. “In making substantial investment in the development of our new assets, and the fueling complex in Kemerovo in particular, we are building a modern infrastructure that will provide airlines with a high level of service. Direct supply from Gazprom Neft’s Omsk Oil Refinery enables us to offer good prices and guarantee the needed volumes of fuel.”
