OREANDA-NEWS. Aeroflot took delivery of the first Sukhoi Superjet 100 in full specification made by JSC "Sukhoi Civil Aircraft" (SCAC). The aircraft is named after Valery Sysovsky, Honored Russian Transport Industry Functionary, and a flight engineer who was a member of the crew that operated the first ILYSHIN-96 passenger flight SU315 from Moscow to New York.

In 2005 Aeroflot and SCAC signed a contract for the delivery of thirty SSJ-100’s. To keep the timeframes of the contract both parties agreed to deliver first 10 aircraft in "Light" specification which were to be changed for the "Full" spec planes in the future.

The main features of the "Full" specification are an upgraded Flight Management System (FMS) and a weather radar equipped with a wind direction detection function. Moreover, the "Full" spec is providing additional video control cameras, separate lighting and air conditioning controls both for economy and business class and an additional working position for flight attendants. More comfort for the passengers is guaranteed by individual gaspers over each seat. The aircraft is equipped with three lavatories with diaper boards, and each of three-seat-blocks in the cabin has an additional oxygen mask. There are four galleys with larger ovens, and an additional space to install a baby bassinet is added as well.

The deal for 10 SSJ-100’s delivery is being financed by JCS "VEB Leasing" according to the financial lease agreement signed with Aeroflot in 2011.
