OREANDA-NEWS. Commercial Port of Vladivostok handles more than one third of vehicle volumes arriving in Russia via the Russian Far East. Top priority is given to the handling of new cars.

Taken into consideration the growth in monthly vehicle volume flows, the port has taken measures aimed at increasing storage areas that meet International standards. There are available specialized storage areas in the port, including two multi-storey parking facilities (7- and 10- storey parking facilities), as well as open storage areas.

Vehicle handling volumes are expected to reach 45,000 units in the first half of 2013, surging 20 percent from the corresponding period of 2012.
