OREANDA-NEWS. June 25, 2013. As compared with March, it increased 2.8 p.p. According to the National Bureau of Statistics, adjusted to inflation, it increased 6.8% as compared with last March. In the budget sector the average wage was MDL 3284.5, 12% up as compared with April, 2012. In the real sector it grew 10.7% to MDL 3923.5.

The lowest wage was given to fishery workers in April 2013; it made up 1,781 lei, 15.4% up as compared with the same period of 2012. The average wages in agriculture and forestry grew 17.5% to MDL 2299.7. Wages in hotel and restaurant business remain low too. This April, they were close to 2517 lei (0.7% down against April, 2012). The average wage in education increased 4.6% to 2900.1 lei. The wage in trade averaged 3103 lei, 8.6% up against past April. The highest wage was paid in the banking sector of Moldova. In particular, this April it grew 11.5% to 8631.3 lei.

The average wage at heat-, power- and water -supplying companies made up 6423.6 lei (13.6% up). It was 4703.6 lei (13% up) at realtor companies; 4661.4 lei (5% up) at transport and communication companies, 5020.3 leis (33.6% up) at public administration bodies. The average wage grew 9.1% to 3660 lei at building companies, 12.2% to 3739.2 lei at mining companies and 6.6% to 3505.9 lei at processing ones.
