OREANDA-NEWS. June 26, 2013. In June 2013 Ukraine International Airlines extended web check-in opportunities for passengers departing from the new points of UIA route network – Batumi, Bishkek, Istanbul (including Istanbul – Odessa non-stop flights), and Larnaca.

A UIA passenger wishing to take advantage of web check-in, should visit UIA website www.flyUIA.com , enter his family name, e-ticket number or Booking Reference. As soon as web check-in procedure is completed, a passenger receives an email with his boarding pass attached. An e-boarding pass containing a special bar code is equivalent to an ordinary boarding pass issued at a check-in counter at the airport.

Web check-in is not available for passengers travelling with an infant under the age of 2, unaccompanied minors; passengers requiring special assistance, and groups of over 10 passengers.

Web check-in opens 23 hours and closes 2 hours prior to scheduled departure time. The IT service allows checking-in a group of up to 9 passengers with a single booking.

In case a passenger has baggage to be checked-in he can also benefit from web check-in service. Arriving at the airport a passenger should proceed to the drop-off point to check-in his baggage and, thus, save 15 – 30 minutes of his precious time. Deadline for baggage drop-off corresponds to check-in deadline of your flight – 40 minutes prior to scheduled departure. Therefore passengers are advised to check the check-in deadlines at the airports of departure.

Thus, online check-in is currently available for all passengers departing from Kiev as well as other points of UIA route network such as Atmaty, Amsterdam, Astana, Baku, Berlin, Brussels, Vienna, Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk, Yekaterinburg, Yerevan, Geneve, Kaliningrad, London, Lisbon, Lvov, Milan, Moscow (Domodedovo and Sheremetyevo International airports), Odessa, Prague, Rome, St. Petersburg, Simferopol, Tbilisi, Tel Aviv, Frankfurt, and Zurich. Web check-in service is also available for passengers departing from the cities of Ukraine – Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, and Odessa – on UIA direct international flights to Tel Aviv, as well as on flights en route Kharkov – Kiev.
