OREANDA-NEWS. June 26, 2013. AaTravel Ltd has opened a new direction of travel from Azerbaijan to Europe.  Company’s general director Vusal Aliyev says that for this AtaTravel became a partner of Hungarian tour operator ‘1,000 Roads’ and is working closely with airline Wizz Air to carry out flights Budapest-Baku-Budapest.

Within the opening of a new direction jointly with ‘1,000 Roads’ and Wizz Air we will hold an information tour to Hungary for the media and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan from 22 to 28 June 2013. In its course the meetings with officials, discussion of directions of cooperation, coordination of technical details, and development of joint plans for the future are planned.

In our activity we always pay attention to attracting tourists to Azerbaijan, i.e. provide a two-way flow of tourists. To do this, we are working out the issue of an info tour for Hungarian tour operators to Azerbaijan this September,” Aliyev said.  AtaHolding  head of  Communication  Department Dilara Zamanova stressed an important role in the organization of a new direction – opening of direct flight Budapest-Baku-Budapest by airline Wizz Air.

"This flight is official opening scheduled for 18 June will be an effective and economical way to travel through Europe. One of the features of the tourist business is that success is possible only in case of regular provision of new services and new directions for consumers. Hungary is a new direction for our tourism. It should be noted that the infrastructure of this country’s tourism sector is highly developed, high-quality service, beautiful nature with mountainous landscapes, all this attracts tourists from all over the world,"Dilara  Zamanova said.

In addition to the tourist destination, in Holding’s plans is the development of cooperation with Hungary in the field of education, in particular with Debrecen University, founded in 1868. As this university has almost all faculties, there is an interesting prospect of cooperation, including within the framework of inter-state exchange.
