OREANDA-NEWS. June 26, 2013. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) initiated a case against Tambov Regional Authority upon signs of violating the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition” (Article 15) and the Federal Law “On Regulating Trading Activities” (Article 15).

Earlier Tambov Regional Authority passed a decree prohibiting from July 2012 retail sale of alcohol products from 11 p.m. to 9 a.m. local time in public eating places classified under the State Standards as “snack bars” and in public eating places located in residential buildings.

Under the federal law, restrictions of retail sale of alcohol products do not cover retail sale in public catering outlets.

The case is scheduled on 23rd July 2013.
