OREANDA-NEWS. Belarus so far does not plan to take out new loans from the EurAsEC Anti-Crisis Fund.

Nadezhda Yermakova, Chairwoman of the Board of the National Bank of Belarus (NBB), made a statement to this effect in Minsk.

The NBB chief said she hopes the sixth (and last) tranche worth USD 440 million of the EurAsEC standby loan will arrive in Belarus by the end of the year.

Hit by a financial crisis in 2011, Minsk agreed on a USD 3 billion stabilization loan from EurAsEC's fund in several tranches from 2011 to 2013. The fund has already provided one USD 800 million and four USD 440 million tranches to the bailout of the country. The latest (fifth) tranche of USD 440 million arrived in Belarus on April 30, 2013.
