OREANDA-NEWS. The Board of Directors of the Italian press agency Agenzia Giornalistica Italia (AGI) has today appointed Gianni Di Giovanni as its new CEO and has entrusted the role of Chairman, previously held by Mr Di Giovanni, to Massimo Mondazzi.

Mr Di Giovanni has taken over from Daniela Paola Viglione, to whom heartfelt thanks go for all her hard work since 2005.Mr Di Giovanni will also be leaving his role as Executive Vice President of External Communication at Eni, a position he has held since 2006.

Established in 1950 with the aim of producing and disseminating information, AGI is one of the most authoritative voices in the world of Italian and international breaking news.
