OREANDA-NEWS. July 10, 2013. The congress was held in Kyrgyz-Turkish “Manas” University. This congress was organized jointly by Kyrgyz-Turkish “Manas” University and Ege University. The main aim of the congress was to bring together scholars, researchers, specialists, technocrats and policy makers working in the areas of economics, finance, and banking to exchange ideas and discuss issues in the related topics.

Scholars and researches from Turkey, Azerbaijan, Oman, Poland, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan participated in the congress. In frame of the congress there were various sessions and a few panels on contemporary issues in economics, finance, and banking.

General Manager of Demir Bank Mr. Sevki Sarilar had a speech and shared his view of economic situation in Kyrgyzstan. Mr. Sarilar talked about main macroeconomic and banking system indicators of Kyrgyz Republic.

Participants of the congress benefit from ideas in diverse research topics on issues that are current interest, especially of the transition countries. Studies on transition and emerging markets are particularly encouraged.
