OREANDA-NEWS. July 10, 2013. 2250 EUR was allocated to support Tallinn Hospice (SA EELK Tallinna Diakooniahaigla) on behalf of Borealis Alliance.  In fact it is the bonus awarded to Estonian ANS, but readdressed to Tallinn Hospice as financial support.

In 2012 the Executive Management of Borealis Alliance of North European ANSPs decided to award EANS for contributions to environmental 3Di exercise. EANS participated in flight data extraction from the ATM system for Finavia. The contribution of Natalja Kunimagi, EANS air traffic analyst, into 3Di exercise was appreciated a lot.

Estonian ANS decided to readdress the financial part of the award to Tallinn Hospice. The hospital is planning to use this money for buying a hoist that is urgently needed there now. “With this amount of money we can buy a hoist for infirm patients. It is a device that helps patients, for example, get up from their beds and sit on a chair and feel comfortable and without abashment. It is a very good relief for our personnel”, said the Hospice Manager Jelena Leibur, appreciating the support.

The goal of Borealis is to create a common infrastructure, to provide harmonised  services, to share resources and knowledges in their development, which will bring considerable savings in development costs as well as in time.

3Di Environmental Exercise was conducted by Borealis Alliance in order to assess the flight trajectory efficiency at Borealis aerodromes.
