OREANDA-NEWS.  July 10, 2013. The Supervisory Council of Estonian Air has confirmed changes according to which the Management Board will continue with four members.

Jyri Ketola, the Chief Operating Officer, and Rauno Parras, the Chief Commercial Officer are leaving the company. The position of the Chief Operating Officer will be taken by Mikael Wangdahl, who has been consulting Estonian Air management during the restructuring process.
"Estonian Air has gone through significant changes in the structure of the organisation and flight network. Now, after implementing changes and achieving stability it is righty time to reduce the number of board members,” said Jan Palmer, the CEO of Estonian Air.

Estonian Air’s Board Members are Jan Palmer, the Chairman of the Board, Wade Stokes, the Chief Financial Officer, Andreas Kari, the Accountable Manager, and Mikael Wangdahl, the Chief Operating Officer.

Mikael Wangdahl, the new member of the management board has a 23 year experience in aviation, and he has worked as excecutive in several Swedish airlines. From the end of last year, Wangdahl has been consulting Estonian Air’s management.
