OREANDA-NEWS. The break in energy collaboration of Ukraine with Azerbaijan has objective reasons.

Azerbaijani sources reports that known loss of interest to such collaboration by Azerbaijan is associated with failure to perform a number of promises by Ukraine.

“Promises should be performed upon filling up the pipeline Odessa-Brodi. Oil pipe line was filled up, but obligations not performed” says the resource.

The pipeline is filled up with oil within the frames of swap operations between Azerbaijan, Venezuela and Belarus, running 1 year and compacted upon getting of discounts for supply of Russian oil by Belarus.

We would mentioned that swap operations show that practically any country in Europe is able to regulate alternative oil supplies, which may be effective. The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in its term gained priceless experience from sales of oil under complex schemes.
